Do I need prior experience to rent a snowmobile?
While prior experience is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. We provide a safety briefing and operational instructions to ensure you are comfortable and confident before heading out on the trails. We also have Maine guides available to lead your tour.
What should I wear and bring for my snowmobile rental?
Dress warmly in layers, including a Windproof, insulated outer layer of jacket and pants. Essential gear includes a helmet (provided with rental), insulated gloves, winter boots, and thermal underwear. Warm clothing is available for rent or sale at our store.
Are there specific areas where I can ride the rented snowmobile?
Yes, we provide maps and guidelines for designated trails and riding areas. Riding off designated trails or in restricted areas is not allowed and may result in fines or penalties. Always follow local regulations and respect private property.
What is included in the rental fee?
The rental fee covers the snowmobile, a helmet, and a full tank of gas. We also include a trail map and a orientation safety briefing. Additional gear, such as suits, boots, or gloves, can be rented for an extra fee.
What happens if I damage the snowmobile during the rental period?
Mandatory Damage waiver collision fee
Each rental unit will require a $2000 Security Deposit on your credit card or in
cash at the time of pick up.
The damage waiver is an additional $25 per day. This fee limits your financial
liability to your $2000 security deposit.
Renter will pay for damage including, parts, recovery, loss of use and labor.
If the user is found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or in violation
of Maine State Law the user will be financially responsible for 100% and this
waiver will be null and void.
